Outcomes

Examples of how I've delivered national-scale services, lead high-performing squads, and improved the way design works.

Scaling impact through the GOV.UK Design System
Contributed core authentication patterns including "confirm your phone number" to the GOV.UK Design System. These are now the standard for government services, providing design leverage for hundreds of teams across the public sector. View the pattern ↗
GOV.UK One Login
Reducing friction for 500,000+ users at scale
Designed the authentication journey for GOV.UK One Login. By removing ambiguity in high-stakes interactions, I helped over half a million people access services successfully, The number will be considerably higher now. Process documented publicly ↗ to set a benchmark for government authentication.
GOV.UK One Login
Unblocking delivery across multi-squad teams
Led design for DfE Financial Benchmarking across two squads. Instead of acting as a gatekeeper, I built the trust and conditions for designers, researchers, and engineers to make high-quality decisions, but more importantly working in the open and collaboratively.

Standardising quality and standards in a community of practice
Created internal documentation and health checks that allow teams to audit their own work. This moved the conversation from "meeting basic standards" to achieving genuine design excellence without requiring constant manual oversight.
Design practice
Bridging the gap from policy to production in minutes
Proved a workflow that transforms policy intent into high-fidelity, production-ready code using AI agents. I documented and shared this process with the community, turning a personal technical advantage into a team-wide knowledge share and capability.
Agentic delivery
Defining practical AI workflows for the design community
Moving beyond abstract AI hype, I’ve articulated how "agentic delivery" works at scale. By sharing these frameworks through community sessions, I’m helping designers adapt their practice for a future where speed is no longer the primary constraint.
